The IQ Key Cabinets are ideal for locations that require large numbers of keys to be secured, such as government buildings, industrial sites, offices, and hospitals, and for the management of vehicle fleets.
We offer cabinets holding 50, 100, 200, 300, or 400 keys. Additional modules can be added within the cabinets to hold keys or to secure other assets, such as documents. The cabinets are made from steel with a powder-coat finish and can come with a transparent or fully metal door.
Each key is secured to a robust steel RFID fob for tracking. This allows the system to log key movements, such as pickups and returns and the opening and closing of doors. The system will issue alerts if keys are in the wrong spaces or have been returned incorrectly.
Administrators have granular controls and can grant users permission to access specific keys at specific times. For example, staff or contractors could be prevented from accessing keys outside work hours or at weekends.
The system’s web interface allows the cabinets to be managed remotely, and you can also integrate your cabinets with access control, ERP, and HR systems.
In the event of an emergency, external systems (such as fire alarms) can be set to release keys, but the system has an internal backup battery that will allow it to continue to function in a power outage.
The cabinets also have an emergency mode. This can be enabled with an emergency master key, which then allows users to press a button and access keys. In these instances, the computer module remains protected, and an additional key is required to access it.
The cabinets are easy to install, with plug-and-play functionality, and can be wall-mounted or on a stand. They also come with a four-year warranty, covering any issues that may arise.
